Beware of shippingNov 22, 2011
By jlg The statue was very well protected with Styrofoam, but there was a huge mess when I took the dog out of the package. There was Styrofoam stuck in every little nook and cranny of the statue and was quite a task to clean. Almost thought about taking it outside and hosing it off! Frustrating.

By Thomas My mother has been looking for a Dachshund Statuary for quite some time now. It seems you can't find it in the stores so I got this for her at Christmas and she absolutely loved it. It looks almost identical to our Dachshund called Penny. The eyes look very real. However a word of caution the sign is actually around the dog's neck. When I opened it I almost cut the sign in half. The box is also full of cheap styrofoam so be sure to have your vacuum cleaner ready with the brush attachment.
